Kairi a Disney Character[]
Calling Kairi a Disney character is like calling tortoise a turtle; Kairi being only original Princess of Heart while others are Disney characters doesn't qualify her as a Disney character. However, I didn't undo your edit as I am yet to play a KH game, but I read a lot Wiki and know a bit 'bout Kairi.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 14:47, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
The issue of KH OCs is pretty complicated. I don't believe a general "Copyright Disney" on the games must automatically mean every single thing within is copyright to them. As the general public, we do not know what the exact details of the contract between SE and Disney may or may not include, so we shouldn't really assume anything; it's best to simply sidestep the issue entirely by just calling her a KH character without trying to get into who exactly owns the copyright on her -- Sorceror Nobody

- Edit conflict: Well, I can't say as I don't own a single KH game, but she is considered a KH character; possibly because she is not featured in other official media aside of KH. In other words: have you seen a Disney film about Kairi, or did she join official Disney Princess line-up? I haven't heard of those. Two things. First, with regards to you claiming you have proof Kairi is Disney but you don't want to share, no. That simply doesn't work in any context ever. If you want people to believe something you are saying, you don't get to tell them you can prove you are right but are choosing not to. Furthermore, if SN can find something stating SE owns Kairi or not does not automatically mean Disney owns her. Just because one thing cannot be proven true or false does not mean the opposite is true. That is a logical fallacy, and it is silly and immature. If you have proof Kairi is owned by Disney, it is on you to share it and validate your points, we do not assume you correct until we can prove you wrong.
However, the second point is, who owns Kairi is pointless in the context of the page. All that matters is she is from KH. It doesn't matter who owns her because Monty Oum certainly does not, and obviously copyright law has no impact on who he includes in his series one way or the other.
And now that the page has been locked, the matter can stay dead as it should. In the future, please exercise more maturity and intelligence before edit warring with several other users over something so trivial. Drake Clawfang (talk) 15:52, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
