Me as a Final Fantasy Fan[]
I loved the Final Fantasy series up until they made the disgrace that was known as Final Fantasy VII (I blame the removal of Yoshitaka Amano for that). I've never lost hope that the series will one day get back on course, and have found a couple of new games in the series I enjoyed (namely, Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance). I've played most of the games in the series, although there are a few of particular notice I've yet to try:
- Final Fantasy IX (I'm now working on it, I'll add it to the list when I'm finished.)
- Final Fantasy IV Advance
- Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls
As for those I have played, here's how I feel about the main series, from best to worst:
- Final Fantasy VI Advance (9.9/10)
- Final Fantasy VI (9.9/10)
- Final Fantasy V Advance (9.9/10)
- Final Fantasy V (9.8/10)
- Final Fantasy IV (9.2/10)
- Final Fantasy III (8.9/10)
- Final Fantasy IV Easytype (8.5/10)
- Final Fantasy (8.3/10)
- Final Fantasy II (8.1/10)
- Final Fantasy XII (5.3/10)
- Final Fantasy III DS (4.9/10)
- Final Fantasy X (4/10)
- Final Fantasy X-2 (4/10)
- Final Fantasy VIII (3.7/10)
- Final Fantasy VII (3.2/10)
Me as a Video Game Elitest[]
I'm a fan of classic games (SNES era and before were the best), and have been playing games since 1990. My five favorite games of all time are as follows (starting with my favorite):
- Rockman DASH 2 (Play Station)
- Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (Super Famicom)
- StarCraft (PC)
- Rockman DASH (Play Station)
- Super Smash Bros. Melee (Game Cube)
I consider myself an elitest at video games, constantly attempting speed runs and the like. One of my favorite challenges is what is called a "Spotter Match" in Melee. It requires every player to have someone else tell them what's happening in the game, as they themselves are blindfolded. It's quite a challenge at first, although if you have a good spotter, and you can learn to discern his/her voice from the others, it's quite fun.
As a last note, I should mention that my passion for games has lead me to create an RP with a revolutionary new system which I call, creatively enough, the "Army System" of RPing. But why should you trust me about it being revolutionary? Just ask one of the sites that ripped it without so much as a link back to the forum that CREATED the system?!
