The moogle knight stands equal to any hume or bangaa warrior in bravery, if not in height.
Description
Moogle Knight is a job class in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift usable by moogles.
Profile[]
Moogle Knights wield blades to damage enemies, like Fighters and Gladiators. The moogle variation of Ultima, Ultima Charge, is available to them. Moogle Knights boast great HP, Defense, and Attack unique to other moogle jobs, considering that most of them are poor in physical stat growth so that players wanting a melee moogle unit should turn to it.
One of the Moogle Knights, Zupp, commands the Goug Watch, a moogle clan created to protect the city of Goug. He is an under-confident Moogle Knight that has Gunmanship as his secondary A-ability. The player will help him train and later defend his town (and clan) from a group led by a Parivir that was the former hired town guard, but was not well-paid and decided to turn against the very city he protected.

Etymology[]
portmanteau of the words for mole (土竜, mogura?) and bat (蝙蝠, kōmori?). "Moogle" is the localized version of Mōguri, losing the pun, though "moogle" has started to appear in Japanese sources as well.
The moogle's Japanese name, Mōguri (モーグリ), is aknight is a mounted soldier in armor who served his sovereign or lord in the Middle Ages. The word comes from Old English cniht ("boy" or "servant"), a cognate of the German word Knecht ("servant, bondsman, vassal"). In most European languages (with the notable exception of English), the word for "knight" comes from "horse", thus implying that a knight is a "noble horseman" or a "horse-mounted nobleman". The English noun cavalier, an archaic term for a mounted soldier, traces its roots to Latin, and is closer in meaning to the "horseman" of Romance languages.
