So apparently, DoC had a secret ending. in this, genisis carries away Wiess and says some shit about work to be done. Will this spawn a new 7 spin off? Please tell me no! I might have to go to my local hospital, walk into the maternity ward and punch a newborn baby if it does.
I don't think so, also, you need to relax, man!
Yeah, it's true. They also gave Genesis a very odd voice; he sounds almost like a vampire. I'm not sure about any spin-offs, but I do remember reading that one of Square Enix's employees mentioned that Genesis had gone into his "slumber" or whatever it was to await a time when the world need a hero--alluding to the fact that he might actually be a good guy during the secret ending of Dirge of Cerberus. Interpret it as you will. Anyhow, I'd rather see them remake VII for the PS3 than make any more spin-offs. They ended them on a good note: Crisis Core.
@Pablo: I will relax when its time to relax! @Everyoneelse: Well if hes a good guy, thats semi okay. His weapon was way to cool for it not to be able to be player controlled. It definetly beats anyother villan weapon. Even masamune!

I have yet to understand what his connection to those Colorful Deep Ground guys are. Also Sephiroth has to defeat Genisis once and for all when he returns in the final sequal. Then Cloud will kill Sephiroth, sleep with Tifa, cut Cait Sith in two, and all will be as it should be.

I meant the stuff about FF VII and all.
Well, they'll end on complilation on the FFVII 20th anniversary, so they probably will make another one.
Seriously....I'm getting tired of reading topics with spoilers on some endings and major plot twists for FF titles I haven't played yet. Please add a spoiler alert before spoiling a game story for someone.
Henryacores - "É que esta noite vou lançar ao mar/A bruma que houver em mim./Vou beber e cantar este luar/vou dançar até ao fim." TALK - {{{time}}}
Spoilers are to be expected. You have been warned. -> This small sentence can be found at the Main Page my friend. Stop whining and start caring about our policies.
Henry is right. A Final Fantasy Wiki will naturally have spoilers. Can't be helped. Now about that spoiler policy thing. Shall we have another discussion on spoiler policy?
Henryacores - "É que esta noite vou lançar ao mar/A bruma que houver em mim./Vou beber e cantar este luar/vou dançar até ao fim." TALK - {{{time}}}
NO. Why should we have policy discussions everytime someone makes deep shit? Stuff is okay as it is!
Spoilers should only be EXPECTED to be on the wiki page of that FF title and under the location of the STORY or possibly under the STORY description of the character in question. If spoilers are to be strewn across in random pages and forum topics without warning then, how the hell are you supposed to avoid them? I'm not whining. I'm being realistic. No need for you to be a dick.

Before being dumb enough to call me a dick, let me tell you what 'Expected means: This is a database about FF. What are databases fo? To find information. How do you hope to not to find spoilers from games, even on forums, where we share our experiences with the series? And yes, you are whining because no one never had any problem with this issue until you came here and started to be like : "Ohhh! You screwed my game *sob*". Live with it. There's no need for you to be a whiny idiot.
I think most of the spoiler make the game kinda interesting, I often read spoilers to know my future like that Balthier is dr. cid's son. ups ^0^
How do I hope not to find spoilers from games, even on forums, where we share our experiences with the series? Spoiler alerts would help for one. =) And, I am far from whining. People *do* have a problem with it. By reading the spoiler rules discussion page you can clearly see that the "Nah" votes got more attention then the ones in approval of the rule. I think that's a clear sign that people disagree with some of it. I am not an idiot for stating my thoughts but, you can continue calling me names if it makes you feel better.
You know what...I have a new idea on spoilers. Put the spoiler tag there. BUT, here's the add-on. Turn the text of the spoiler white or something so that you can't see it unless you highlight it. Then we won't have problems about "Oh noes! You made me read a spoiler you evil peoples!" Problem solved, and if they do look at the spoiler and then complain...we should just ban them for being total dickwads.
LOL... That's actually a good suggestion and that is a method used on a lot of actual forums these days.
I have rewritten the spoiler policy page, since all that voting was done two years ago with no follow up whatsoever. Now, visitors must understand that first and foremost, the focus of this wiki is not the forums, but the articles. AD's suggestion may not work on skins with different colored backgrounds, and we are not about to dictate what skin every user must use. If such suggestion would be used, it will not be applied to the mainspace as spoiler tags is sufficient enough, and we have a disclaimer (spoiler policy) now saying its your own fault if you are spoiled.
I never thought a simple question would end in the retooling of a policy. Cool.
