Defender is an enemy from Final Fantasy X encountered in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth. It is a derivative of the Defender X, but does not use Blast Punch. It has a 50% chance of using Haymaker, a powerful physical attack, on either Auron or whomever has the lowest HP if he is not present, and will also use it if Provoked.
Defenders drop armor with SOS Protect and Defense +10%. They will also drop weapons with Strength +3% or +5%.
