Baraero (バエアロ, Baearo?) is a recurring spell in the series. It generally increases resistance to Wind-elemental attacks.

Baraero is a White Magic spell learned by Red Mages (level 13) and Rune Fencers (level 12). When cast, the spell increases the chance of the player resisting Wind-based spells and attacks. It may be recast every 10 seconds for 6 MP, and, like all Enhancing Magic, its effectiveness changes depending on the player's Enhancing Magic skill. Players playing as White Mages have access to an upgraded version, Baraera.

Description
Baraero is the level 7 ability of the Seer class, requiring 140 AP to learn. At the cost of 24 MP, the user will reduce the damage of the next Wind-elemental attack on the party by half.
