Fissure + Fission[]
Since we are the last two content providers for the Unten series, would you like to co-create a new character for the series? In my game, I wish to create the "First Augury", the first chosen one, way way before Unten, he/she just needs to be a blue beorn other than that we can see together and implement these new characters in our game :)
Yeah, I thought that the term "First Augury" would not fit too well in your universe but it definitely fits with the idea of "Mythical Beorn Hero From A Bygone Era", maybe an equivalent era of the Greek Empire but on Zeon. Our game stories are different enough so I was already kind of expecting us to have this same unique character but with little variations to fit with each of our games.
My quick idea would be for this character to be a female, I'm honestly not a big fan of Untina, I find her gender-switch role/design boring. And yes, in Fissure '22 the character would have met Queen Pixella when she was alive and received enormous power from the Narobi to fight The Darkness. That's where I am, I didn't give it more thought (not even a name) so we can work on it together.
I LOVE the idea of a huge eel-like Fanti that could ride through the sky and which can project destructive thunders. I would not mirror too much her story with Unten's one, I think we should enjoy the freedom of having this new character set in the past with very different stakes and settings.
It's true that I want the reveal in Fissure '22 to be the discovery that the Narobi and Queen Pixella are in fact the remains of a very advanced population of Zeon that brings doom to themselves by creating the Darkness as a weapon to protect the planet that eventually turned against them. That's my way of connecting my version of the Narobi with the Narobi-Tron IA-thingy from the Prodigy series. That said, I didn't think too much about why this "1st Augury" would be chosen by the Queen... maybe because the beorns were very primal at the time and maybe that's an advantage against a high-tech conscious weapon?
