Subspace Fighters is an upcoming action rpg. The game is set in an Umbrella Universe known as the Subspace World, similar to games like Chaos Collision and SHIFT, with the overall gameplay being heavily inspired by Kingdom Hearts and the plot being inspired by many pieces of media including Captain Marvel, Star Wars and Jump Force. It is set to release on July 12, 2019.
Story[]
In the Subspace World, the United Colonies of Omega is led by Funny Valentine and The Sovereign. This government maintains balance throughout the Omega Galaxy, with their main base of operations being the planet Gallifrey. But in secret, The Sovereign have been experimenting on people to try to make living weapons and making deals with various space pirate gangs like The Humanz and The Passione to make sure that no one learns of the experimentation. Two of these test subjects, Experiments #11 and #13 are rescued by The Resistance, a group rebelling against Funny Valentine led by Ruby Heart and Bruno Bucciarati. The Resistance then learns that Experiment #13 has the ability to replicate the abilities of others while Experiment #11 was bonded with a living symbiote and has telepathic powers. Joining The Resistance, #13, now going by Liam/Lianna, and #11 make a group with fellow Resistance Agents Guido Mista and Roll Light and set off to defeat Funny Valentine and The Sovereign.
