Star vs., also known as Star vs. The Forces of Evil RPG Quest, is an upcoming 2016 North American and Australia's release video game developed by Disney Interactive Studios and published by Nintendo. The game will be released on the Nintendo 3DS and might be ported into the Wii U after the 3DS's game debut. The game is made by both McOrange and TerriariaBoss.
The story focuses on Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz as they battle out villains and seek out the game's main antagonists, like Tom, Princess Smooshy, Lobster Claws, ect. The main villains has taken Star's mother and father captive and Star is determined to get them back if her life depends on it, along with meeting new friends and them tagging on along the way.
Gameplay[]
Star vs. contains gameplay that is similar to some Square Enix and Nintendo games, such as Super Mario RPG and the Final Fantasy series, and is very unique unlike any other Disney adventure games. Like any other main RPG games, there are two main sections of the game: adventure and turn-based monster fighting battles.
The player controls either Star or Marco at the beginning of the game, then overtime, the player can gain 'Friends' to tag along with them on their journey. Every character that joins you has an unique ability that is only acquired for them, for example, Star's unique ability is her "Star Wand" attack, where she can summon special attacks that could be either Healing or Attack in her own special way. The combat is based on traditional turn based battle system with the additional adding of Action Commands.

Setting[]
In the game, the worlds are set in a geographically diverse land, which includes mountains and unique worlds. Each region has distinct characteristics which is held by it's villagers (inhabitants); Tom's Dimension, is inhabited by Demons and reformed monsters. The Giant Castle is the main prominent location in the game, it holds the portal to the main antagonist's home world.
Story[]
Star and Marco were fighting off Ludo's Army, stopping them from destroying the town, they beat them once again, not thinking they would come back. Soon after, Star got an alert that her parents and some other captives got kidnapped by a hoard of villains and they need help fast! At first Star thought it was no big deal, until they brought up that some of the captives were local, that's when Star jumped into action!
