Saints Row is an upcoming Open-World Third-Person Shooter Game for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC. It is a reboot to the Saints Row series intending to bring the series back to the roots, this is not to be confused with the actual Saints Row Reboot known as Saints Row (2022).

Plot Synopsis[]

The Plot of Saints Row sees the player taking control of a nameless gang member of the Third Street Saints gang who joins the gang after being nearly killed in a fight that breaks out in the gang's namesake neighbourhood. The player is then on referred to as Playa after having been introduced to the gang through Remington Hall, the group's leader and his second-in-command Kenneth McLaughlin. After helping to establish the gang's presence in the Saints Row neighbourhood the player is set with helping the five lieutenants of the gang; Amber Mercier, Markeys Osman, Kaori Endo, Daniel Nowak and Riya Kerala with dealing with each of the gangs across Pecheur Bay.

Gameplay[]

Gameplay is largely similar to previous Saints Row games with the player controlling the playa from a third-person perspective that's usually pulled back although can be shifted to over the shoulder when aiming with guns. A lot of the gameplay is focused around the open-world exploration and shooting mechanics, the various weapons in the game each have their own traits about them that differ with the player able to carry several different guns at once although only one from each group (Pistols, SMGs, Shotguns, Rifles, Specials, Melee & Explosives). The player can find a variety of missions throughout the game split between the main storylines that play out and the side stories, in addition to these are various activities, minor events that the player can participate in which are scattered across the city.

Before starting a mission the player needs to gain respect, respect is required to start main story missions and needs to be at a certain amount before a story mission can begin. Respect can be earned through various methods including driving feats, shooting feats, exploration, collectibles, property ownership, side missions, activities and diversions. Main Story Missions are greyed out if the player lacks the necessary amount of respect to start said mission.

Alongside the aforementioned activities which are located in specific locations, the player can also participate in Diversions which can be started from any location as long as the player has the appropriate vehicle. Diversions are able to earn respect and can be used to unlock special vehicles and weapons depending on the particular diversion completed.

As with Saints Row 2 and Saints Row the Third the player has access to vehicles for Land, Sea and Sky. Although access to the latter two is generally gated off to the player unless they explore considerably. There are a large variety of vehicles to access and handle differently with varying statistics and abilities. Like with previous Saints Row games the player also has a number of activities involving driving around although like Saints Row 2 the vehicles for these activities it decided by the activity itself and not what vehicle the player arrives in.

Activities[]

Saints Row features 12 Activities to play, nine returning from previous games and three new ones. Activities like in Saints Row and Saints Row 2 have minor plots around them where the playa helps out a named character in Pecheur Bay with their troubles. Each Activity has one or two locations which each offer their own variety in the focus of the activities.

  • Canonizing - Canonizing is one of the three new activities in Saints Row, the player is tasked with canonizing new recruits into the Third Street Saints with most of the rewards for completing the activity being upgrades to your Homies in regards to their weapons, vehicles and general aptitude. Canonizing involves finding minor gangs and convincing them to joint up with the Third Street Saints, some are canonized the old fashioned way (fistfighting) while others have different approaches such as completing small racetracks or getting notoriety. The later levels introduce more weird individuals with more unique objectives which often reward the player with a unique vehicle, weapon or homie.
  • Demolition Derby - Demolition Derby returns from Saints Row 2 with more customization options, although generally functions the same, each level has the player competing against a series of other vehicles in a last man standing arena. The arenas design somewhat changes between each level with new obstacles and power-ups being available in the arenas. In addition the Arenas now include boss enemies for their final levels which make use of much heavier vehicles. The player's customization of their Demolition Derby vehicle is also expanded with variety in the upgrades available with some upgrades only being unlocked in one of the two arenas encouraging the player to play both arenas.
  • Escort - Escort returns from Saints Row the Third with the player needing to drive around various characters completing mini objectives along the way while avoiding the paparazzi. Escort's clients vary based on which version of the activity the player has with one location being for prostitution and the other being for celebrities. As the levels increase the requirements of the mini objectives as well as the amount of satisfaction the client requires will increase in difficulty and more variants of the paparazzi will appear.
  • Fight Club - Fight Club returns from Saints Row IV although functions more like its Saints Row 2 counterpart. Like both the player is limited to their fists as well as any items that are thrown into the arena, the player will go up against between one and six opponents with some of the more unique enemies being encountered here as well. Getting to the final level will have the player go up against a boss character who is unlocked as a Homie for completing that Fight Club. Fight Club also has a secondary betting option where the player is able to bet money in a Free Fight mode where the player will need to defeat a certain amount of enemies depending on the money bet, although the payout also increases multiplicatively meaning the multiplier for the payout increases the more difficult the fight.
  • FUZZ - FUZZ returns from Saints Row 2 and functions nearly identically to the original, like before the player disguises themselves as a cop for a reality TV Show and has to go around the city dealing with various crimes, although the crimes start out fairly tame they quickly escalate into absurdity with the player being given a variety of questionable items for a police officer to possess. Each level of FUZZ increases the amount of crimes the player has to deal with as well as the difficulty of them.
  • Hitman - Hitman returns from Saints Row the Third and functions much like it did in Saints Row 2 and the Third, where the player is tasked with tracking down particular targets and taking them out. Like its incarnation in Saints Row the Third, the player doesn't need to go to a specific location to begin Hitman but rather can access it on their phone, each Hitman target is denoted by one of three contractors and unlike previous iterations of Hitman the targets are unlocked in a semi non-linear order although there is a designated final target for each contractor.
  • Insurance Fraud - Insurance Fraud returns from Saints Row IV and functions much like how it has in every previous game, where the player is tasked with gaining money by playing in traffic and getting run over, the adrenaline meter functions much like it did before with the player able to be launched extremely high as a result. In addition the activity now includes several items that can be collected to temporarily boost various elements of the activity such as the frequency and speed of vehicles, aggressive pedestrians, having the national guard show up, etc.
  • Mayhem - Mayhem returns again from Saints Row IV and combines many of the various iterations of the activity from previous games into a singular one. There are two versions of Mayhem, the first focuses around on-foot Mayhem and gives the player increasingly destructive weapons to work with while the latter focuses on vehicular Mayhem. Like with previous iterations the player earns money through property damage although can now also damage buildings earning money as a result. Completing the later levels will unlock some of the weapons and vehicles used in the activity.
  • Piracy - Piracy appears for the first time in the series although was originally a cut activity from Saints Row 2, in Saints Row the activity has the player travelling out to steal goods from ships, the player will be often set up against the cops and Sea Wolves as a result although other gangs can also appear. The player's goal is to bring the necessary worth of goods back to the pick-up location within the allotted time, this often means making multiple trips out to different ships. Cargo is carried on the player's own boat or helicopter (vehicle depends on the level of the activity) and can be knocked off by getting shot at reducing the amount the player has when they arrive at the pick-up location. Completing the activity's later levels will provide unique aquatic vehicles as well as general upgrades to boat traversal.
  • Racing - Racing returns from Saints Row 2 although functions more akin to its Saints Row 1 iteration. The player is given a particular vehicle for each Racing level and has to race around a track against other racers, the number of racers, difficulty of the racetrack and number of laps differs from level to level. The player must complete the race in first without destroying their vehicle to win. Power-Ups can be found across the racetrack including Nitrous, Repairs & Ammos for Guns. The player can temporarily take their opponents out of the race by blowing up their vehicles which will allow the player to get ahead although unlike the player the opponents will respawn after a few seconds at the last checkpoint they passed.
  • Stunt Driver - Stunt Driver is one of the three new activities in Saints Row, this activity is somewhat of a spiritual successor to Trail Blazer and has the player completing stunt tracks which are generally modified areas of the overworld map, the vehicles the player drives in this are generally very unique or gimmicky vehicles with their own quirks and abilities. Unlike Racing, Stunt Driver is focused on completing the race track as well as gaining points, the player needs to complete the race track in a certain amount of time while completing various stunts on the course to build up points. Completing Stunt Driver will unlock the various vehicles the player drives during the activity.
  • Zoo Collector - Zoo Collector is one of the three new activities in Saints Row, this activity only has one location where it can be activated at the Pecheur Bay Zoo. The player is tasked by the Zoo's owner with going around the city and rounding up either animals that the owner wants to add to the park or capture escaped animals, this often leads to the player getting notoriety with the cops as a result and the animals behaviour differs from one another with lower level animals being easier to capture than higher level ones. The main weapons of this activity are the Net Cannon and Tranquilizer Gun which are used against small and large animals respectively. The first levels have the player simply catching animals that are native to Pecheur Bay with later levels having the player go after more exotic animals and even some of the staff who tried to escape the zoo. Similar to Escort the player must also be mindful of the animal's condition which will deteriorate if the player hits them with their car or a lethal weapon and if they get hit by enemy cars while bringing the animal back to the zoo.

Diversions[]

Diversions are minor activities which can be useful in raising the player's respect, they can be initiated anywhere and typically require a particular vehicle to be activated. Diversions are split into two groups; Collectibles and Jobs, the former are focused around exploration and completing feats in the overworld while the latter are more similar activities albeit without dedicated locations.

  • Collectibles
    • Armed Robbery - An evolution of the Store Hold-Ups form Saints Row the Third, this diversion has the player robbing a store like usual, the outcomes of attempting to hold-up the stores can vary wildly. In addition the player also has a few more options on what to do including initiating a store's defences which make it more difficult for the cops to get in but also harder for the player to get out, the player can also direct the store owner to more than just the store's safe. Stores can be held up more than once but the player only needs to do it once to count towards 100% completion, in addition trying to hold up a store soon after the last time the player tried it can result in some of the store's customers to reveal themselves as undercover cops.
    • Barnstorming - A returning collectible that the player can achieve through flying through particular areas usually either through an opening in a building. Completing the Barnstorming feats will unlock additional paint jobs for the player's Planes.
    • Cargo Crashes - A new collectible which can be found throughout the game, these crashed vehicles will be guarded by gang members, the player will need to kill the gang members and collect the cargo and bring it back to one of their safe houses, while carrying it the player's movement is significantly slowed and they can't use their heavier weapons so it's recommended to bring a vehicle to load the cargo into. Collecting the different cargo will unlock additional consumables and crib customization options.
    • CD Collection - A returning collectible from Saints Row 2, the CD Collection is much rarer than previous games and has the player generally exploring each area more thoroughly. Collecting each CD will unlock a new song for the player.
    • Gang Dens - An evolution of the Gang Operation Diversion from Saints Row the Third, this diversion sees the player going to specific buildings across the overworld and clearing out all the enemy gang members within. Completing these Gang Dens will increase the player's income once they control that neighbourhood and also unlock new Gang Member clothing options.
    • Historical Records - A variant on Saints Row IV's Audio Logs, Historical Records provide the player with more information on the history of Pecheur Bay across different points in history. Collecting all in a set will unlock more clothing options and collecting all of them will unlock a special bonus mission.
    • Memorabilia - A new collectible for Saints Row, Memorabilia are items referencing the previous Saints Row games, there are only a handful scattered across Pecheur Bay and finding them will unlock either a unique vehicle, tattoo, hairstyle, clothing or skin for their weapons.
    • Police Operations - Police Operations are a new variant of Gang Operations, throughout Pecheur Bay the player can come across the police performing various options against the gangs, the player can take out the cops to complete these operations, doing so will unlock new customization options for the player's vehicles.
    • Secret Areas - Secret Areas make a return, they're found through exploring around Pecheur Bay, secret areas are comprised of natural landmarks and manmade ones. Visiting enough Secret Areas will unlock new clothing options for the player.
    • Stunt Jumps - Stunt Jumps are found throughout Pecheur Bay, off-road ramps which the player will need to take at high enough speed to clear them, they can be done in a car or on a bike. Some are also now found in the water and require a boat to complete. Completing Stunt Jumps will unlock additional paint jobs for the player's Bikes and the second level Nitrous.
    • Tagging - All across Pecheur Bay the player can find rival gang sprays on the walls of buildings and objects, the player can mark over these with the Saints tag to earn respect, although must be wary as doing so will raise the player's notoriety with that gang. Completing Tagging diversions will unlock new logos for the player's clothing and vehicles.
  • Jobs - TBA

Characters[]

ThirdStreetSaints

The named members of the Third Street Saints; Remington Hall, Amber Mercier, Markeys Osman, Kaori Endo, Daniel Nowak, Riya Kerala & Kenneth McLaughlin

The Third Street Saints are comprised of eight major characters, the playa' as well as the seven named members.

  • The Playa' - The playa is the player character, not much is known about their past although they're known to have grown up in the Saints Row neighbourhood and witnessed much of the gang violence that became prominent in the area. They're generally a bit sarcastic although tactical and adaptive when it comes to their missions. Throughout the game it is made evidently clear that they're also extremely merciless and tend not to hesitate in taking out the heads of the enemy gangs.
  • Remington Hall - The leader of the Third Street Saints, Remington grew up during the initial rise of the first major gang in Pecheur Bay known as the Tarantulas. Remington along with many of his old neighbourhood friends managed to stand up against the Tarantulas and prevented the gang from expanding to the east side of the city. Over time Remington attempted to distance himself from gang conflicts although with the rising presence of the new gangs of Pecheur Bay as well as the seeming betrayal of some of his old friends who had turned a blind eye to the rising gang violence that had begun to seep into the eastern neighbourhoods of Pecheur Bay.
  • Amber Mercier - Despite her young age, Amber is a rather brilliant mind in the Third Street Saints, having been associated with the gang for some time due to her father's ties to Remington, she decided to step up and join the gang when her father wouldn't. Although inexperienced with gang culture she is a brilliant tactician and doubles as the gang's financier having her reach into the city's gambling industry that allows for a small but consistent flow of money in from there. Although not much for direct gang conflicts she has trained herself in firearms and carries around her father's old revolver which she and quite a lot of the gang believes gives her unusually good luck.
  • Markeys Osman - Having joined the Saints when they started to establish themselves, Markeys worked his way up from a regular gang member to a Lieutenant through his dedication, he is one of the strongest believers in Remington's desire for Pecheur Bay and has watched his friends and family fall victim to the allure of the gangs around his home. Originally Markeys started out trying to establish his own gang to counter the presence of the Sea Wolves however was nearly killed in a boat raid that went wrong, fortunately for him Kenneth happened to be watching the raid unfold and intervened saving him. Markeys has a great deal of respect for Kenneth although the two do not always see eye to eye due to Kenneth's more violent solutions.
  • Kaori Endo - Originally hailing from Japan, Kaori came to the US in hopes of starting anew after having dishonoured her family back home for reasons that only those closest to her know. Kaori may appear unassuming but she is one of the most dangerous members of the Saints gang, her skill with a sniper rifle is unmatched and some stories go around among the lower gang members that she was originally part of special forces, although this is most likely untrue. Kaori seems to have a great deal of belief in righting the wrongs of the past and is ruthless in her missions to deal with enemy gangs.
  • Daniel Nowak - One of the first to join up with Remington when establishing the Saints, Daniel is fairly young in comparison to a lot of the early members but has quickly become proficient with handling gangs, his religious upbringing somewhat contrasts with his status in the gang and some lower gang members wonder about why Remington trusts Daniel as much as he does. Despite this Daniel is shown to be quite skilled when it comes to handling gangs, often able to identify emotional weaknesses within the other gangs and exploit them, relying on the tension within other gangs to tear them apart.
  • Riya Kerala - Riya is a bit of an oddity among the Saints, originally joining because of her misunderstanding of gang life she was nearly killed during one of the first missions she was put on, fortunately for her and the gang as a whole however Riya managed to survive and has become known as the Saints' venom as she her ties to the plastic surgery business Image as Designed allows her and the gang members she controls to disguise themselves extremely well and infiltrate enemy gangs sabotaging them from within. Ironically of all the lieutenants in the Third Street Saints, Riya has the most presence outside of the gang being known as a fashion model under the pseudonym Parvati.
  • Kenneth McLaughlin - One of the only members of Remington's original group that curbed the presence of the Tarantulas back in the day, Kenneth is a loyal soldier to the Saints and is often the one to train new gang members in firearms. He is sometimes referred to as the grandfather of the gang due to his age and rough exterior, although those that get past his roughness find him to be very caring and protective of his subordinates. Although he's not directly involved in dealing with any of the enemy gangs he does help out by using his old connections to set the playa up with the necessary equipment.

Enemies[]

Alongside the Named Characters Saints Row also features a number of enemies, similar to Saints Row the Third each of the gangs has slight variations through the use of specialists who're enemies with attributes unique to that gang. All enemies in the game are Human or UAVs.

  • Gangbangers - Gangbangers are the standard enemies of a gang, they're physically identical to regular pedestrians albeit will wear their gang's respective clothing. Gangbangers come in a few varieties but are the weakest overall members of each gang.
    • Initiates - Lowest level Gangbangers, always wield Pistols and are found roaming their gang's territory on foot
    • Soldiers - can wield Pistols, Shotguns or SMGs and are found roaming their gang's territory either on foot or in vehicles
    • Muscle - can wield Shotguns or Rifles and will appear when the player has 3 or higher notoriety with that gang
    • Captains - always wield Rifles and have unique clothing as well as being considerable more durable than other Gangbangers
  • Cops - Cops are the standard enemies of law enforcement, they appear while roaming both on foot and in vehicles and will chase down the player when they have a notoriety with the Law between 1-4. Cops have a few variations and are generally more durable than their Gang equivalents.
    • Cadets - Lowest level Cops, always wield the Police Baton and either the Stun Gun or Pepper Spray, they appear roaming on foot and in Level 1 Notoriety.
    • Officer - can wield Pistols or Shotguns and are found roaming in vehicles in pairs, they can appear from Level 1-3 Notoriety.
    • Corporal - always wield Pistols and Riot Shields, they will appear starting at Level 2 Notoriety.
    • Sergeant - always wield Shotguns or Rifles and wear heavy armour making them difficult to take down, they will appear starting at Level 3 Notoriety.
  • Brutes - Brutes are a common special enemy that can be encountered from any of the gangs in the game, they're a very large enemy who always carries heavy weapons (either Miniguns, Flamethrowers or Rocket Launchers) and appear from Level 3 Notoriety upwards. Brutes are quite slow and so can easily be outrun but their weapons make them incredibly dangerous in addition to their considerable health.
  • Specialists - Specialists are enemies that are unique to each of the gangs in the game, each gang has a specialist which appears from Level 4 Notoriety upwards. All Specialists have more health than regular Gangbangers but less than a Brute.
    • Hitman - The Specialists for the Royal Flush, they carry around a Sniper Rifle and will often take vantage points to target the player, if the player is in a vehicle then they can attack via helicopter. They have the lowest health of all Specialists but make up for it in their ability to take out the player or their homies very quickly.
    • Brigadier - The Specialist for the Sea Wolves, they carry around a portable Cannon that they can use to fire on the player, although on their own they're not much of a threat, when the player is distracted by other enemies they can be especially dangerous. They will also often target the player's vehicle (or the vehicle they were previously driving) to prevent the player from escaping.
    • Rallier - The Specialist for Moxie, they carry around a megaphone and can rile regular pedestrians to attack the player as well as make other members of their gang attack more ferociously, they tend to avoid the player's line of fire and so can be quite evasive.
    • Demolitionists - The Specialist for P3, they wield Grenade Launchers and will often lob Grenades and Satchel Charges, if their grenade launcher runs out of ammo then they'll throw it away and pull the pins on their coat and attempt to take the player down with them.
    • Charioteer - The Specialist for the Copperheads, they ride around in Vans and Trucks and will attempt to run the player over if they're on foot, from their vehicle a large number of regular gangbangers can appear from to fire on the player, they can prove to be very dangerous in an on-foot gunfight just as much in a vehicle chase.
  • Military - The Military are the more advanced enemies that appear when the player's Law Notoriety gets to 3 or higher, they're much more dangerous than the Cops and come equipped with military grade variants of the standard weapons.
    • Soldier - Uses a Shotgun or Rifle, they have body armour that protects them as well as helmets that prevent head shots, they can however be disarmed or crippled by shooting their hands and feet.
    • Heatsquad - Uses Rifles and Explosives, they are heavily armoured and typically come in groups of up to five, they appear at Level 4 Notoriety or higher and are the first non-Specialist enemy that can be hit by a car at full speed and survive.
    • Assassin - Uses a Silenced Pistol and Dart Gun, they're much more lightly armoured than other military enemies but make use of their agility to evade gunfire and will flank the player to take them out, they always appear in pairs or trios and start appearing from Level 4 Notoriety onwards.
    • Tank Team - Drives in the Challenger or N-Forcer, they only appear at Level 5 Notoriety and are one of the most dangerous enemies, the tank cannot be hijacked.
    • UAV - Flying Drones equipped with either a Machine Gun or Bombs, they appear at Level 5 Notoriety and will attempt to take out the player either by shooting them down or blowing up near them, though they're only moderately armoured their aerial movements can make them difficult to hit.

Pecheur Bay[]

PecheurBayMap

Pecheur Bay is the setting of Saints Row, like Stilwater and Steelport before it the city is riddled with crime and corruption from the various gangs that hold influence over it. It is also similarly split into several districts comprised of several neighbourhoods each. Districts are controlled by one of the five major gangs or the Pecheur Bay Police Department (PBPD), although over the course of the game the player can take over the districts for the Saints.

District Influence Neighbourhoods Description
Gateway District Moxie Saints Row
Glockenton
Ricalusett
Balmy Hills
The Gateway District is the main passage into Pecheur Bay, its most notable feature is the Gateway Bridge which is the oldest of the city's bridges. The district is fairly low income due to being a funnel for the less affluent people from the Suburbs and Ports districts to filter into. As a result it is overcrowded and crime-riddled.
Hotels District Moxie Sharktooth Bay
Inferno Alley
The Grand Sparkler
The Hotels District as the name would suggest is a district with many hotels in it and serves as one of the more tourist-focused districts in the city. It is well-maintained and has a higher cop presence than regular districts. Many of the more luxury vehicles can be found driving through the area. The most prominent buildings in the district are the three great Hotels Zeus' Palace, Hades' Hall and Poseidon's Skyrise.
Suburbs District Moxie Little Anatolia
West Moterria
East Moterria
North Loop
The Suburbs District is a fairly standard housing district, most middle-class citizens can be found in the district as well as various family vehicles. The district is generally fairly flat and has many shortcuts through the large yards that the houses have. Several community centers can be found in the district with shops that can be accessed.
Marina District Moxie Monument Hill
The Barons
Swordfish Beach
A somewhat more affluent area of Pecheur Bay, the Marina District houses some of the higher income residents from the Suburbs District as well as being a place where one of the civilian ports is located. Many boats can be found and procured from the area as well as various strangely themed shops along the port area. Monument Hill, located in the district's western area is home to the statue of Wrestling Levi Whiteford Gillcrest a colonial hero in Pecheur Bay who's legends are well-established throughout the city.
University District Sea Wolves Pecheur University
Bachella
Where the youthful minds of Pecheur go to learn, as well as often getting exposed to some of the more serious crimes in Pecheur Bay if they weren't when they were younger. The University District is very much a two-faced location, on the surface appearing to be one of the most pleasant and peaceful districts, it is home to numerous drug dens and prostitution rings as well as having many of the accommodations for the university's students double as safehouses for the Sea Wolves who operate in the area recruiting the students.
Ports District Sea Wolves Hullbard Coast
Whittagold Beach
Sailor's Way
The Ports District is the main docking area for cargo shipments but also services some civilian ships, in particular those belonging to the people of the neighbouring Mansion District. The Ports District appears to have an extremely high presence of the Sea Wolves who are often seen intimidating the police in the area to let them onto the docked cargo ships. Much of the area's buildings are believed to be owned by the Sea Wolves and allow them to store many of the goods they steal until being sold off.
Mansion District Sea Wolves Gold Oak
Ryemoor
Bellend
The Mansion District is the most affluent and wealthy district in Pecheur Bay, it is home to many of the city's most wealthy individuals and is a much more sparsely populated area with large green areas between the houses. Although the Sea Wolves control the district it is more so to keep other gangs out as the Sea Wolves have the most cordial relationship with the district's inhabitants. Not much is known about the goings on and controversies of the Mansion District as most are kept hidden from public eyes.
Archipelago District Sea Wolves Archipelago Located off the coast of the city, the Archipelago District is less of a district and more of an outpost that the Sea Wolves use. The most notable landmark in the area is the Pecheur Lighthouse which is meant to help direct ships to harbour, however the Sea Wolves have complete control over the island and have make-shift fortifications built around it to assert their control. Numerous wrecked ships can be found around the islands which are mostly the Sea Wolves work.
Capital District CBPD Union Avenue
Judicial Park
Grand Station
Servitude Road
The Capital District is the location of the Mayoral Town Hall and many other major service buildings within Pecheur Bay. Originally established as the heart of the city back during the colonial era, as the land was developed around it the government at the time took steps to take control of the original territory owned by them. As a result there is very little housing in the Capital District with its main functions being for services and businesses. Many superfluous tourist traps were added to the area with made-up history to get tourists to visit and spend money.
Skyscraper District CBPD Bludletter Island The Skyscraper District is a large island located in the Pecheur Bay, originally a much smaller land, it was extended by dumping earth from the cleared areas around the northern mountains giving more soil for people to build on. The area is solely focused on business and many executives travel either via Helicopter or Boat as there are no roads or train lines leading to the island. Most people see it as a very exclusive area where only the upper echelons of society can access, unlike most districts the Skyscraper District has its own private police force known as the STAG Initiative.
Downtown District Royal Flush Old Quarter
Mermaid's Bay
Panteras Arena
Advanaca
A very developed district with many skyscrapers, the Downtown District serves as a bit of an entertainment and business hub hybrid and its central location among the older parts of the city makes it very popular. The Old Quarter is generally less built-up than the other areas but has many historical buildings which have been heritage listed as a result becoming tourist attractions almost as much as the Panteras Arena.
Redlight District Royal Flush Bawdy Strip
Ribald Drive
Gentleman's Hill
Easily the seediest of the districts in Pecheur Bay, which is saying a lot. The Redlight District is poorly controlled to say the least, police presence is near non-existent and although the Royal Flush control the area they often pay the various Pimp families of the district to enforce control. Turning around any corner in this district one can often find any form of sin and/or vice going on, however perhaps the most notable in both its luxury and depravity is the Salacious Mansion a very large night club located on Gentleman's Hill which services high-paying patrons and is close enough to the Gated District that it's known to tempt some of the most affluent in Pecheur Bay out from their homes.
Apartments District Royal Flush East Minky
Lunawalk
Chinatown
West Minky
The Apartments District is located directly north of the Downtown district, the two's proximity has proven a great financial service for those able to profit and provides the best housing for the people who work in both the Redlight and Downtown Districts. Of course however, living conditions aren't exactly great, the Apartments District is described as the rat maze of Pecheur due to the numerous tiny alleyways that are only big enough for a motorbike to drive through. Chinatown is the district's highlight, having developed from the Post-War distrust for Asian-Americans it managed to flourish in spite of its history and has become a bright spot on an otherwise underwhelming district.
Peninsula District Royal Flush Burner Crossing
Riffmont
Crustacean Coast
The Peninsula District is a generally more established district than most, during the early years the Peninsula District used to be its own town called Riffmont but was absorbed into Pecheur Bay. As a result the district has Residential, Commercial and Industrial sectors but has never really grown to specialize in anything, as a result the culture can be quite different from the rest of Pecheur Bay, to the point that the district even has its own colouration for the cops and their own sporting team that are rivals to Pecheur Bay's Panteras. The district's most distinguishing feature is Mr. Pinchy the giant crab monument that initially started out as a terrible marketing scheme before becoming a cultural icon.
Projects District Royal Flush North Bookitville
South Bookitville
One of the newer districts, originally the district was part of the neighbouring Factories district but broke away when it was transformed for residential housing, which also doubled in pushing the homeless population that had become a serious issue. The area is heavily guarded by police and many of the houses and apartments are still under construction.
Loch District P3 Froggy Park
Putun Avenue
The Loch
The Loch District is a small district split by the North River of Pecheur Bay, as the name would suggest the district's most notable feature are the lochs that it employs to allow boats to navigate up the Northern river. Because of this the district is somewhat old in its appearance and is home to a number of retirees and as such is a prime location to find the more classical vehicles.
Mountain Trail District P3 Mount Stinger One of the largest and most sparse districts, the Mountain Trail District is comprised of the major roads that navigate along Mount Stinger although many of the minor paths are unmarked. The fairly dense foliage of the area can make it difficult to navigate and some believe there are tax dodgers who live out in the woods.
Gated District P3 Eros Gardens
Pothos Ridge
Philotes Cliffs
The Palisade
The Gated District is one of the most wealth districts in the entirety of Pecheur Bay, predominantly comprised of high-ranking business officials and politicians it is a very exclusive and secluded area with its own private forces in the form of P3. When it was first establish during the late 1800s the Gated District separated itself by importing land from Mount Stinger to elevate the district making it physically more difficult for others to get in, the district is only accessible by the main highway.
Trailers District P3 The Trash Heap
Rocky Shores
The Trailers District is a dingy run-down district where the lower classes of Pecheur Bay reside, over time the area developed into a giant trailer park and has a very distinct culture from any other district as a result. It is well-known that many of the drugs that circulate through the city originate from this district however the cops are a rare sight here as they're often shot at by locals if they get too close. The perhaps most distinct landmark of the area of the Pecheur Bay City Dump site which is a favourite spot for the squallers of society to gather and collect goods they can make use of.
Factories District Copperheads Train Yard
Smokestacks
The main industrial sector for the city, the large factories that dominate this area provide materials for the various heavy transport vehicles seen traversing the area. The Trainyard is located here where many of the trains that operate throughout the city undergo maintenance. Despite the seemingly organized nature of the Factories District it's a popular location for street races as the more open areas between buildings and various dirt piles make for considerable racetracks.
Parkland District Copperheads Tortoise Park
Lake Bodie
The Parkland District is the large park in Pecheur Bay and was established as a national reserve back in the early 20th Century. As a result the roads through the area are the only ones allowed to be maintained and and so it is easier to navigate the area on foot than by vehicle. The District also has a history of bodies strange washing up on the shore of the lake, and is believed to be a common dumping ground for criminals.
Riverbank District Copperheads Torrent Drive
Deluge Market
Cascadia
The Riverbank District is a mostly residential area that's similar to the Suburbs District with mostly middle-class inhabitants, it is seen as a bit of a lower district however due to the location, the cheap housing is a result of the district's propensity to flood during particularly bad years, as such many of the houses are built elevated which provides the unique visual of being able to drive under some of the buildings, some have even made a tourist attraction out of the necessity with special elevated restaurants.
Underpass District Copperheads The Underpass The major home for many of the homeless of Pecheur Bay, the Underpass is a shanty town where law is rare and unwelcome, the district has grown over the decades due to the homeless being funneled into a singular location and out of sight of most of the population. As one would suspect the area is also rampant with crime being the meeting junction between the Copperheads, P3 and the Royal Flush Gangs and often the homeless are caught in gang war crossfire.
West Gate District Copperheads Pecheur Regional Airport
Highway 100
The West Gate District is the main entry point for those visiting the city being both access via air and land, the regional airport although not much to look at provides both a runway and hangars for planes whilst the highway provides the main entrance into and out of the city. The area is littered with numerous plane crash sites as Pecheur Bay originally leased the land out for experimental test flights and has never bothered to pay to have the land cleaned up.
