The Neithersphere (also known as The Neitherworlder) is a alien foe hailing from a dimension called the Neitherworld that debuted in Nintendo & Fantendo Play: Dodgeball!. Being a host to an entire infected dimension, the Neithersphere desires to continue to spreading across other dimensions and sends out infected characters to infilitrate a childish spat between four gods. The character was created by Helena (t∣b∣c) to serve as the leader of the Neitherworld concept similar to The Neverworlder and functionally serves as The Freakmeister for the plot.
Description[]
Neithersphere Description[]
The Neithersphere is a spherical encasing around a mysterious figure that serves as the brain who can see out a eye with white and pink patterning across it with a single point into the eye. As the eye moves around, the mysterious figure can be seen inside in a fetal posistion. Their "eyelid" is a mouth with sharp, crystalline teeth poking out. Across the dark purple sphere is purple lightning patterns. There is light blue fauna spread across three entry points, which it drops to spread itself or form attacks from. It looks very alien and abstract in origin.
Neitherworlder Description[]
The Neitherworlder is the mysterious figure inside the Neithersphere. They are humanoid in shape, with a large bulbous case around the top of their head and have long extended, sharp cut ears. They have black teeth. Their body is generally a purplish gray with prominent bright purple lines going down across their body. They have a set of tails behind them that have red buds at the end, which connect at the bottom of the interior of the Neithersphere. They have heeled feet with a prominent bright purple spike at the bottom of their conjoined sole.
Personality[]
The Neithersphere/Neitherworlder is cruel, malicious, and a force to be reckoned with as it completely infested it's original universe and every inhabitant in it and intends to keep spreading. The Neithersphere is a parasite and always craves more. It is drawn to large sources of power, which can be tracked through mass interdimensional summoning and godly powers. The Neithersphere/Neitherworlder seems to have inherited it's godlike powers from infected gods in it's home dimensions and is not inherently god-like. It still has a poor grasp on it's abilities and seems unable to summon much from it's home dimension currently.
It also strips many of it's hosts of their mouths- and even when they still have them, they are rendered mute. It is unknown if this is a side effect of how it infects people or if it's just how it insists on speaking for itself, and itself alone.
Appearances[]
Nintendo & Fantendo Play: Dodgeball![]
The Neithersphere is the true main antagonist of Nintendo & Fantendo Play: Dodgeball! and a major boss of the game's story. They rule an alternate dimension known as the Neitherworld which is filled with infested versions of the cast of the game that have Neitherworld coloring. These servants are known as Neitherworld Nygmites. It appears as a boss in the game as well, having maxed stats in every single stat possible, including it's "personality" stats.
After defeating the Neithersphere for the first time, they reappear later on and it is discovered that they can regenerate indefinitely from their original home dimension. After defeating the Neithersphere again, the pilot, the Neitherworlder, has basically nowhere to go and has to regenerate the Neithersphere as they battle you.

Trivia[]
- The Neithersphere's purple coloring calls to mind The Threat, the main villianess of the New Fantendoverse's first phase of stories, although it does not have a right to any of the universes it attempts to infect. The infection idea is somewhat similar to the events of Days of Victory when the Threat's User Crystal is mistakingly used to reinstate order.
- The Neithersphere is meant to be similar in role to both The Neverworlder and The Freakmeister from Neverworld The First and Nintendo Civil War. However, as opposed to granting power, the Neithersphere instead seems to take power.
