Light VS Dark: Crossover DX is an upcoming fighting video game developed by MikuLuigi07 and published by SEGA for the Nintendo Switch.
The game is a port and an enhanced version of the original Light VS Dark: Crossover as it includes new stuff, fixes issues, and replaces certain things.
The game crosses over with multiple franchises, but the main game and the main game's story mainly focuses on 8.
A game similar to this, titled World of Light VS Dark, was in production while this game is being made. Because of this, some parts from that game appears here.
Differences From the Original[]
- 4 new playable characters have been added.
- The story mode adds a few new characters, as well as new and altered scenes.
- Due to alterations of the story mode and new fighters appearing, some voice actors have been completely replaced.
- There are no more full character names, outside of a few. Almost all characters now have their single name.
- There's a new battle UI.
- All in-battle character icons are new.
- Some characters have either new or replaced moves.
- Some stats have changed.
- Some palette swaps have been either altered or completely replaced.
- Primp Town - Nahe Woods has been renamed Nahe Woods - Woods.
- Vocaloid has been renamed to Virtual Singer due to Hatsune Miku no longer being a part of the Vocaloid series.

Darkness Prevails in the story mode of Light VS Dark: Crossover DX. It has been altered from the original version.
On a random day, out of nowhere, various villains joined forces and have taken over the world. Despite that, they are in the hunt for all the Elements of Harmony so they can bring back King Mercenare. It's been 90 days, and now the Light Resistance are ready to fight back and find the Elements of Harmony hoping that with it's power, they can take back the world, but they don't know about the villains' main goal.

Palette Swaps[]
Each character has 4 palette swaps, with some having exceptions. After choosing a character, you must choose one of their palette swaps. Once a palette swap is chosen, it becomes unavailable for the other player.

Elements of Harmony[]
The Elements of Harmony are used as a handicap during battle. You can also choose to fight without one.
They are pretty much like the Infinity Stones from Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite.
You will see the player(s) wear the Element of Harmony if one was chosen.
