Lego Splatoon is a game for the Nintendo Switch, developed by Traveler's Tales, and published by Nintendo and Warner Brothers Interactive.
Gameplay[]
Lego Splatoon mostly follows the Lego game formula however it has added features like ink from Splatoon. Additionally, it has a battle mode that is 8-player based on Turf Wars. Also, each story mode level will have a different color inkling wielding varying weapons. This will ensure new and cool ways to solve puzzles. Nintendo characters are unlocked by building Amiibo statues in the overworld.
Additionally, there are super abilities like The Lego Incredibles.
Story[]
DJ Octavio feels like he hasn't caused enough trouble over the years. He decides to kidnap the Great Zapfish and the Off the Hook cast! Make your way through many Octolings as you try to save the Great Zapfish.
Octo-Expansion[]
These levels are obtained by collecting gold bricks.
The Great Blob-Doctor (A Blobfish), performs tests on you trying your physical and mental capabilities. Along the way, clues were left leading you to defeat the Great Blob-Doctor.

Overworld[]
Unlike the actual Splatoon games, this is an open world. It leads you to places instead of a set area to area. As previously mentioned you build Amiibo statues in the overworld to unlock characters. There are races, and you start with the Splat Buggy. There are also missions that unlock Splatoon characters. Because some Nintendo characters have unique abilities this would encourage exploration.
