Glacier Pass is the fifth world in Super Mario and the 8 Elemental Crystals. It is unlocked by completing Shoreline Beach. It is a world full of pine tree forests, jagged mountains, and snow-capped hills. The boss of this world is Larry Koopa at Larry's Slip-Slope Castle. Chief Chilly guards Freezy Fire Tower.

Snowfall Forest[]
This level is a snowy forest level with Snow Spikes and and snow drifts,and icy quicksand and its similar to World 5-1 in New Super Mario Bros.

Chilly Haunted Cabin[]
The fourth ghost house of the game. It has frozen floors, icicles and moving walls Big Boos. Boos drive walls like in New Super Mario Bros 2.

Snowstorm Skyway[]
An sky level with mountains and gusty winds. There are many pipes with Piranha Plants in them. At the end of the level, you can see the tower with Chief Chilly on top.

Freezy Fire Tower[]
This tower combines fire and ice. The first area has lava rising after you. In the second area you ride an elevating glacier. The boss is Chief Chilly, who gains powers from the White Crystal of Ice. He will build up a layer of snow around him, and you must lure him into the surronding lava. This will destroy the snow layer, and reveal his weak spot: his face. Hit him 5 times to deafeat him.

Cooligan Glacier[]
This icy level contains many Cooligans that chase after you. Many glaciers move up and down. We first see the Penguin Suit here.

Arora Glow Mountains[]
A night-time sky level with many colorful aroras, and mushrooms. Coldoboos can jump out from below. Yoshi also appers

Frozen Urchin Lake[]
An underwater level with lots of Urchins. Pipe waterjets can be used to speed through this level.

Icicle Cavewalk[]
An underground level with many icicles, large ice walls and Ice Bros. Icicles are used as platforms in certain areas. The Burning Mushroom is introduced here. At the end of the level, you can see Larry's airship circling his castle.

Larry's Slip-Slope Castle[]
This castle has many slippery hills and Cooligans. The second part of the level has icy Snake Blocks to ride on. The boss is Larry Koopa, who comes down from his airship. He places the White Crystal of Ice on the tip of his magic wand. He is now able to create packs of Cooligans to slide with. When defeated, he retreats to his airship and flies to Bowser's Castle, unlocking World 6: Sunny Cloudway.
