Super Smash Bros. Impact is a fighting game for the Nintendo Switch. It is the sixth installment of the Super Smash Bros. series (seventh if both versions of Super Smash Bros. 4 are counted as two games).
54 characters (55 if Pyra and Mythra are counted as separate fighters) return from Ultimate with ??? characters being cut from the roster. In additon, 15 newcomers are available in the base roster, making it a total of 69 (70) characters in the base roster. Like Smash 4 and Ultimate, the Mii Fighters are available from the start via customization.
Each character has a set of alternate costumes that features different colors or designs. Like Smash 4 and Ultimate, all characters have eight costumes except for Mii Fighters, which have a variety of costume options. A list of alternate costumes can be found here.
The music in Super Smash Bros. Impact includes a wide variety of tracks. It consists of pieces taken directly from other Nintendo games and games with third-party representation, nearly all of the remixes from previous Super Smash Bros. titles, and brand new arrangements. A list of songs can be found here.
Card[]
Cards are collectible items in the game. They replace spirits from Ultimate. In gameplay, not only they play similiar to spirits, but also stickers from Brawl and equipment from Smash 4. A list of cards can be found here.
