Super Smash Bros. vs Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is an upcoming fighting game coming to the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4, developed by Bandai Namco Studios, Sora Ltd., SuperBot Entertainment, and SCE Santa Monica Studios. It is being published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and Nintendo.
The game, as the name implies, is a crossover between Super Smash Bros. and Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Gameplay[]
Gameplay is sort of a hybrid between Super Smash Bros. and Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. Fighting plays more like Smash Bros., with characters having several, grounded, aerial, ducking, Smash, and Special attacks. However, there are a few Playstation All-Stars mechanics, specifically the Special Bar. This builds up as you damage players, and allows you to activate a Super Move (or Final Smash for Nintendo Characters). Each character has 3 Super Moves/Final Smashes.
The game features two different styles of play: Smash Mode and Battle Royale Mode. Smash Mode features percentages, and has you knock your enemies off the stage to KO them. Battle Royale Mode has you use your Super Moves/Final Smashes to KO your opponents. Both have Time and Stock matches.

Rivals[]
The Rivals return from Playstation All-Stars. When playing Classic mode, the character you've chosen will fight against a rival, in which a special cutscene will play. Rivals will usually have some kind of connection with eachother.

Similar to Playstation-All Stars, stages feature elements from two seperate games, combined in one. Unlike the last game, stages are part-Nintendo and part-Playstation.

Trivia[]
- This is the first time that Nintendo characters will be on a Playstation game, and the first time Playstation characters will be on a Nintendo game.
- Corrin was chosen out of all the Fire Emblem character due to his/her uniqueness, being able to turn into a dragon and stuff.
- Notable exclusions in the Smash Bros. series include Luigi, Jigglypuff, all the Fire Emblem characters (excluding Corrin), Megaman, Pac-Man, and the Retro characters.
- Evil Cole was cut from the roster, because no one likes Evil Cole.
