Valefar is a boss character in Doom Dome Battle and its sequel.
Description[]
Valefar is one of the many demons who resides in Hell. He is a brute, only being focused on power and tries to ascend in the line of demons, despite never managing to do it. He is a thief and prompts others to steal as well, and supports dysfunctional relationships. He was first defeated by Prince and Kai while trying to capture Kai. He is dragged to the lowest layer of Hell where he encounters and fights Jersey Devil, only to end up being defeated once again. But despite all these fall backs he tries to crawl back up and claim what he deserves.
Gameplay[]
Valefar is a strong and slow fighter, mainly relying on his fists and sharp claws. He also tends to bite peopel and make quick unpredictable dashes in his slow movement.
Story[]
Doom Dome Battle[]
Valefar appears as a boss character in Doom Dome Battle who also is the first boss encountered in the game. After hearing that Rokukai escaped to the Surface, Valefar goes there to hunt him down in the hopes that he gets a higher position. When he encounters him, he is with Prince Bucksalot. Prince fights Valefar to protect Rokukai and sends Valefar to the Underworld.
He reappears again when Jersey Devil is send to the lowest layers. He sees Jersey Devil as a rival and won't let him pass thus fights him, but in the end gets defeated by the Jersey Devil as well.
Doom Dome Battle 2[]
Valefar returns as a boss in Doom Dome Battle 2. He somehow got out of the lowest layers of the Underworld.
Rokukai's Demon Bounty[]
Valefar appears as a major character in Rokukai's Demon Bounty, first appearing in the Stage 1 level: Wildefort Downtown where Rokukai has the option to save him from the angel guardians leading him on a bad route. Afterwards Valefar asks Rokukai to free several demons at the Wildefort Angel Base and meet him up in the Infinite Forest afterwards. There Valefar wants Rokukai to defeat Mephistopheles as she wants to apprehend them again. He flees the Infinite Forest and has to be hunten down in Little Asia when on the bad route and can be released or caught. In the dark route he simply makes his escape.
In the true ending he is the first one to get brainwashed by Aries which triggers the others to help Rokukai and Seben get into Aries' lair. Valefar can be seen in the ending along with the other demons.

- Valefar is a demon who appears as a duke of Hell in The Lesser Keys of Solomon and also is completely based on that.
- He usually is represented as a lion with the head of a man, or as a lion with the head of a donkey, but now has the head of a lion instead and is more humanoid.
- Valefar is the only boss who is fought twice in the first game, not counting Mayor Wildefort who's second boss battle is his other self from the future.
