Bubble Mario is the power-up form of Mario when he obtains a Bubble Flower. In fanon prior to 2023, the character's body becomes transparent like a bubble, and they is surrounded by a large bubble. Bubble Mario appeared for the first time in Super Princess Peach: Wardrobe Warriors as a form used by Peach, Daisy and Rosalina. Mario himself first attained this form in Super Mario Land & U.

A canon Bubble Mario appears in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. The form has a pink color scheme, and its powers are similar to a Bubble Baby Yoshi.

Abilities[]

Bubble Mario or any other character that uses the Bubble Flower can throw bubbles to trap enemies into them, which explode into coins upon touch. In fanon, because of the bubble that surrounds the character, they can swim underwater without losing air and even protect themself from certain projectiles (except sharp items).

Trivia[]

• The first concept of Bubble Mario was that he would wear round-shaped red overalls and indigo shirt and hat.
