The area map has several stages which must be cleared in order. Parties and equipment can't be changed on the area map. You will not be able to return to the home screen until you complete all stages or give up. Losing on a battle will also return you to the home screen, losing all progress and energy used unless lapis is used to revive.

There are two types of stages, one being battle stages, in which wave battles occurs, and the other being scenario stages, in which story scenes play out.

• Hartmannellidae will imbue and absorb ice. Must be hit with lightning a few times to remove damage resistance buff.
• Aporypha starts with a large amount of buffs that can be dispelled.
• Frost Dragon will use Howl of Desolation as early as turn 1 as its last action, but only if its HP is between 80% and 85%.
• Bring stop and petrify resistance for your provoke unit. Bring death resistance for the majority of the party, or a source of reraise.
• For a magic cover tank, 130% ice and 130% water resistance will be all that's needed. A non-evade physical cover tank would need the same resists and some dark resist.
