"Wild Reputation" is a song by Giancarlo Pasquini under the alias The Big Brother. Produced in 1990, the song was initially released that year in a vinyl maxi-single published by A-Beat-C in Italy, on October 29th; then it made its first album appearance in "Super Eurobeat Vol. 9 - Extended Version" on November 25th; and in a Mini CD single released in Japan on the same date. Years later, in 2021, the original single was ripped and released digitally on January 2022. The song was written by Giancarlo Pasquini with Marco Gulinelli, composed by Pasquini and produced by him under his main alias Dave Rodgers.
This is one of the most successful songs performed by Pasquini, being also the first The Big Brother song and the second songs made by A-Beat-C.
In later years, Pasquini released two covers of the song. The first one in 2005, titled as "Wild Reputation 2005", on March 24, 2005; and again in 2020, titled as "Wild Reputation (2020 Version)", on May of 2020. The 2005 cover is the most known for it appearance in the anime series Initial D.
In 2024, it was released an old Demo version of the song, tagged as "Demo Tape Wild Rough Mix", which was performed by the "Dave Rodgers Band".
