- The riff is a bit similar to "Say You Love Me" by Stop Limit Line.
- Hard Beat was featured in Episode 1 of Dear Boys.
- For unknown reasons, the song was later removed in the international version of the series, this also happened with "Sex On Fire" by De La Vega, song featured in the same episode.
- The only way to get the actual extended version of the song is in the original release of "Eurobeat Masters Vol. 2", since the version featured in the 2022 and 2024 remastered versions of the album, are one minute shorter (4:24) and have an error in the intro in which the instrumental was cut just before the riff.
