Usage
This template may be used in ʻReferencesʼ and ʻFurther readingʼ sections of Wiktionary entries, and on talk pages, to provide a citation to Arthur Anthony Macdonell's Sanskrit dictionary.
Parameters
The template takes the following parameters:
|hw=
or|head=
– the headword. If the parameter is not specified, the template uses the name of the Wiktionary entry.|1=
or|pg=
or|page=
(optional) – the page number.|nohw=1
(optional) - to not search the headwords in the dictionary.|disp=
(optional) - to display something else while searching for something else in the online dictionary. This is often needed for compound words (eg. from TERM1 + TERM2) where the main headword to be searched is TERM1, while the whole compound word has to be displayed.|nohwlink=1
(optional) – to not link the headword to the dictionary entry page. This should only be used when the headword is causing any problem, and not without the|page=
parameter.
