     Conditions at the crime scene were also unusual: 20 or 30 thousand yen had been taken from the living expenses in Noriko’s wallet, seemingly deliberately; shopping receipts and hand-written receipts that Noriko had been saving were scattered around the kitchen; and a drawer in the wardrobe had been opened and ransacked.
