   ‎sidar (“to sit; be sitting”) + ‎-eskar → ‎sideskar (“sit down, take a seat”)

2. (with an adjectival root) become, get

   ‎richa (“rich”) + ‎-eskar → ‎richeskar (“to become rich”)

In early Ido (until the late 1910s) this suffix was used after verbal roots to form a verb with exclusively an inchoative active meaning.
