I feel like there can be an article on the Mechanics of drifting boats and ocean circulation or some other title. I'm not quite sure what the title of the article should be, but I feel like there can be an article on drifting boats and how the ocean currents play a role in the movement of stranded/drifting/wrecked boats and how search teams find survivors. There are already articles on Ocean current, Flotsam and jetsam, Air-sea rescue, and Marine debris, but they don't focus on this aspect of the drifting mechanics. There's no article yet on actual drifting boats/general behaviors/movements of drifting boats/and how search teams search for them using oceanography/studying ocean currents. Does anyone have an idea/have any suggestions? - M0rphzone (talk) 23:44, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
