My name is Bill. I am a pharmacist by trade and was educated at the University of Connecticut.

My interest in Wikipedia came primarily by surfing the Space: 1999 related articles. This was the program that spurred my interest in science-fiction at the age of eight, when the series premiered in 1975. After that, I added all things Star Trek, The Avengers (John Steed, not Marvel Comics), UFO and Doctor Who to my viewing repetoire.

I think my obsession with detailed episode synopses stems from the dearth of such information when I was growing up (except for Star Trek of course).
