Article Rewrite
[edit]I am suggesting this article be setup for a rewrite. The article reads like a promotional brochure for the company rather then a descriptive article. LSX 04:35, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
There must have been a much earlier company of this name
[edit]There must have been a much earlier company of this name, because here is a truck in 1926 with a "Sterling" logo. - Jmabel | Talk 06:51, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
- And, indeed, a Google search quickly confirms this. So "The Sterling name was originally used by an independent truck manufacturer, bought by the White Motor Co. ca. 1953" is quite an understatement. - Jmabel | Talk 06:53, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
