The 2020 Women's T20 Challenge will be the third season of the Women's T20 Challenge, a Twenty20 cricket tournament established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2018.[1] . This year also , it will be a three team tournament like last year consisting of a group stage of 3 matches , followed by a final.[2]
The tournament was originally scheduled to commence on May 2020 in Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur coinciding with the 2020 IPL's playoffs.[3] However, it was suspended due to the global coronavirus pandemic. On 2 August 2020, it was confirmed that the tournament would be played between 1 November and 10 November 2020 in the United Arab Emirates.[4][5]
