Gary A. Wales (born September 29, 1995) is a Scottish actor. He is an actor, director, and producer, known for his work in the short film, 2Late,[2] and in short films such as Love Bites [3] and No Answer and the television series Game of Thrones.
Early life
Wales was born on 29 of September 1995, in Falkirk, Scotland. Wales lived in Armagh, Northern Ireland from the ages of 13 to 21, he attended City of Armagh High School. In Northern Ireland he first became involved in Performing Arts. He then went on to the Southern Regional College to study Performing Arts Level 2 & Level 3 in Armagh in 2013-2016. In 2017 he then later returned to Scotland. [4]
Career
Wales began his acting career in 2008 in the musical Oliver Twist!. In 2012, he appeared in the musical Grease. Wales continuing starring in musicals before appearing in his first TV sitcom 6 Degrees and then later starred in Game of Thrones (season 6) and a series of movies.
In addition to acting, Wales is also a director and producer. His best known work was on the short film 2Late. In September 2014 the movie 2Late was screened to the public for the first time on September 27th in the Armagh City Hotel.[5] During the filming of 2Late, Wales and his team were greeted by former mayor of Armagh Councillor Robert Turner when he visited the film set in Armagh on St Patricks Day weekend. [6]
In 2018 Wales was announced as the first male model for House of Ikons [7] at London Fashion Week in September 2018. [8] [9]
Wales Announced on his social media that he was working on Psychosis [10] and Vikander. He was later interviewed by Celebmix in regards to the two new projects. [11]
On September 1st 2018 Wales was featured in the Indie Introduction Magazine TZ Element [12] He was featured front page and the magazine is available to purchase on Magcloud [13]
Personal life
Wales is the oldest child of five children, he has three sisters and one brother.
On 17th June Wales was baptized Christian in Norman, Oklahoma at Journey Church. [14]
Charity and social action
February 11th 2015 Wales was announced as the Peer Advocate/Patron Spokesperson for the Anti Bullying organisation Aunt Candies Awareness. [15]
On the 24th October 2016 Wales took part in a 24 Hour Broadcast in collaboration with Stand Up To Cancer [16] to raise his goal of £500 for the charity. Wales went live at 7am on the 24th on the app Live.Me and finished at 7am on the 25th October raising £113.16 [17] for Stand Up to Cancer.
