Anopolis (Template:Lang-grc), which Stephanus of Byzantium claims was an earlier name of, rather than a successor settlement to, Araden (Ἀραδήν)[1] was a town and polis (city-state)[2] of ancient Crete.[3]

Its site is tentatively located near modern Anopoli.[3][4]
