About Talk:Ningaloo Station, but first of all...

Hi SatuSuro!
You welcomed me so many years and edits ago. And please be assured I have not forgotten my gratitude to you for the welcome.
As for the notability of WA pastoral leases, well that's somewhat vexed. I've read your response and agree with it in general terms, but I think there are a few points that would need further clarification. Apologies for not addressing them right now - I'll have a little think and reply very soon, if that's OK with you?
Belated thanks again for the Welcome - will discuss further asap ---Shirt58 (talk) 10:49, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

Region categories

Hi, would you have any objection to renaming the sub-categories of Regions of Western Australia to look more like the articles which describe them - i.e. Category:South West region of Western Australia -> Category:South West (Western Australia) and so on? Orderinchaos 10:42, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

Note if they are renamed btw, neither of us has to do the work to put it into effect - yay for the CfR bots. Orderinchaos 10:43, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

thanks

For removing the attack off my page. I know we've had disagreements in past but appreciate your assistance on this occasion. LibStar (talk) 12:05, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

Assessment request

Hi SatuSuro, I was wondering if you could assess Metro, Indonesia and Sebuku (Sumatra), both of which I have expanded considerably. I think Metro may be either a C or B, but I am a little worried about the use of essentially one source. Sebuku may be either Start or C, but there are some sections that need expansion, if possible. Thanks. Crisco 1492 (talk) 02:10, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

Odd? How so? Okay, thanks for the feedback. Crisco 1492 (talk) 02:49, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
Ah, I get it now. By my count, about a quarter of our articles have at least very basic sources (i.e. are rated Start class or higher)... it would be nice if we could improve that figure, but I think that is less likely to happen than Jakarta not flooding after a huge storm. Hi. I was inspired by a write-up in Aussie Rules: For Dummies, 2nd edition by Jim Main. Just Google the term and you'll find plenty of references. - Richard Cavell (talk) 11:09, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

You are welcome, but honestly I am not adding the modified articles to my watchlist because it is already too big and, in addition, I can't see why anyone would revert those changes.--Canyq (talk) 00:40, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Wikimedia Stories Project

My name is Victor Grigas and I'm a Storyteller at the Wikimedia Foundation. We're exploring new ways to explain why Wikipedia is so special and we’ve started a Wikipedia Stories Project, where we’re chronicling the inspiring stories of the Wikipedia community, especially editors and active contributors in the movement like you. I'll be traveling to Wikimania next month to collect stories for our 2011 Fundraiser. While there I'd love the chance to meet with you and hear your thoughts about Wikipedia. We’ll have a schedule of available times for you to sign up if you’re interested, but right now, we’d like to make the initial contact to gauge your interest. Please let me know by emailing me at vgrigas@wikimedia.org or responding on my talk page.

thank you,
