Conway Recording Studios is a world-class recording and post production facility in Hollywood, California. Conway is known in the industry because of its tropical gardens, located in a 54,000 square foot gated complex. That feature makes it harder for paparazzi to photograph and enter the studio and parking area, improving the privacy and comfort of high-end artists and music professionals[1][2][3].

Conway has hosted many top producers, mixers and artists, such as Alicia Keys, Barbra Streisand, Black Eyed Peas, Blink 182, Britney Spears, Carlos Santana, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews Band, Dido, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Guns N' Roses, Katy Perry[4], Korn, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Marilyn Manson, Metallica, Michael Jackson, Miley Cyrus, No Doubt, Phil Collins, Pink, Prince, Ray Charles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Seal, Stevie Wonder, U2, Whitney Houston and others.

People and Awards

Conway has been nominated for awards of technical and creative excellence[5], and is part of the top ten most successful currently active recording facilities in Los Angeles, after the MP3 versus labels controversy. It started in 1972 as a small eight track mastering studio, and was later purchased by Buddy and Susan Brundo in 1976. Since then, the studio complex has been rebuilt from the ground up by renowned studio designer and architect Vincent Van Haaff[6][7].

Grammy award winning producer and engineer Peter Mokran (Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, Snoop Dogg) uses Studio B regularly, and is referred as Conway's own in-house mixing engineer[8].
