Covenant Health (Alberta)
Covenant Health is largest Catholic-based health care provider in Canada and was created on November 27, 2008 following the amalgamation of Alberta's regional Catholic health care providers under a single administration.[1]
Covenant Health operates 16 facilities in 11 communities across Alberta in cooperation with Alberta Health Services and employs approximately 12,350 staff, physicians and volunteers.[2] Services provided include acute care, continuing care, assisted living, hospice, rehabilitation and respite care, and seniors' housing.
