Hi all, I've been away from this project for some time, but happened by, and I want to let everyone know that assessment is automated. We have a bot that crawls every article marked with the {{essay}} tag and assesses it based on the criteria put forth on the Assessment section of this Wikiproject. This project badly needs a guideline on what is acceptable as an essay, especially for those that are placed in the Wikipedia namespace. SpinningSpark 12:43, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

Is the assessment formula using "all watchers" or only "active watchers"? You can see the difference this makes on older pages here. WhatamIdoing (talk) 21:56, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
