Green Prophet, Eco-News is a Middle Eastern website and blog featuring clean tech and eco news.[1][2] In 2015, more than 20 journalists and analysts report for Green Prophet, following social issues related to the environment, in the Middle East-North Africa region. Content from Green Prophet has been quoted in other news sources around the world.[3]

History

Green Prophet was founded in 2008 by Karin Kloosterman, an environmental activist from Canada, who moved the the Middle East.[4] Since then it has publlished news and feature articles about environmental topics in the Middle East, including green design, eco-faith, solar and wind energy, organic living, oil independence, science and health.
