editHello, I'm Suntooooth. I noticed that you have been adding short descriptions to articles. However, the short descriptions you added are too long to be effective, such as at Confederation of Cologne. The guideline is that short descriptions should ideally be under 40 characters long, and no longer than needed. For more information, see the short description guidelines. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you. Suntooooth, it/he (talk/contribs) 03:56, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, okay thank you for letting me know! I was not aware of that. If you would like I can go and revert those? Gankbank789 (talk) 04:00, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
- It's fine, I already changed it to be shorter :] Suntooooth, it/he (talk/contribs) 04:16, 8 January 2024 (UTC)

Recommendation of renaissance books
editHello, i see your in need Of books that focuses on denmark in the renaissance, so i would like to recommend a couple diffrent books: denmark 1513-1660, the rise and decline of a renaissance monarchy (Paul Douglas lockhart) Frederick II and the protestant cause (Paul Douglas lockhart) denmark-norway as a potential world power in the early 17th century (this is an article) Theres also more, but these give a good overlook. I see however you Are mainly active in medieval danish history, Are you sure you Arent getting the medieval times and renaissance mixed up? Btw i hugely appreciate the work You’ve done for danish history wiki pages Anglosaxonmessiah (talk) 14:26, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, thank you very much!! My favorite time frame is 1500-1800, specifically 1500-1648. However, I was recently working on an essay on Renaissance Denmark and the Baltic Trade, and I wanted to provide background of Denmark's adventures in the Baltic pre-1500. Unfortunately there wasn't much information about it, so I found some books about it and decided to add some of the information to wikipedia!
- Again, thanks for the books! Gankbank789 (talk) 15:27, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- I appreciate your work here greatly and its lovely to see people cherish scandinavian history that is not just vikings. I am to soon contribute a bit to medieval danish history articles here, since its so messy right now, primarily valdemarian denmark. I hope you keep your interest in scandinavian history! Anglosaxonmessiah (talk) 16:28, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- high medieval history is great! i will definitely look forward to your articles!
- scandinavia is such an interesting region historically. its a shame that in terms of medieval history at least, theres a very england/france centric view of it (in America at least), where different european nations had really unique forms of government, culture, tradition, etc. Gankbank789 (talk) 04:31, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah honestly. I hope that one day all people Will cherish our history as much as people cherish france’s and england’s history. But yeah, great to see some non scandinavian people like you have realized how great scandinavian history is Anglosaxonmessiah (talk) 17:36, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
