Moongrum, Carian Knight is a hostile NPC in Elden Ring.
Overview[]
Moongrum is one of the few enchanted knights left. Anointed by the Lunar Queen, these heroes of the highest honors had power to match even the champions of gold in battle, but fell into disarray with the decline of the Carian royal family.[1]

Guards the elevator to the Raya Lucaria Grand Library, where Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon is found.

Strategies[]
Running past him to send the elevator up and then either baiting him to swing his sword or pushing him with strong attacks with heavy foward momentum down the shaft is a quick and effective tactic.
Be careful when he keeps his shield raised, as it means he's ready to parry any incoming attack.

- Moongrum's name in Japanese is ムーングラム (Mūnguramu) which can also be read as "Moonglum." Moonglum is a character in Michael Moorcock's 'The Eternal Champion' series of novels, which Miyazaki has cited as an inspiration for Elden Ring.
