The Sovereign of Betrayal and Bloodshed, the Mockery represents dishonorable combat and unjust war. His worshipers include assassins, rogues, and evil warriors, as well as the infamous Flayed Hand.[8][1]
He is known in some circles as the Betrayer and was once a member of the triumvirate of combat deities; his betrayal led to his flaying and banishment from the Sovereign Host.[1]
The brother of Dol Arrah and Dol Dorn, the Mockery is portrayed as a ghastly human warrior with the skin stripped from his body, cloaked instead in the skins of his enemies, and sometimes as a half-fiend red dragon.[8][1]

Background[]
It is speculated that the legendary half-fiend red dragon Dulazurak, who betrayed his sister the legendary red dragon Dularanahk during the war against the Overlords, is the inspiration for The Mockery, whose name was once Dol Azur, while his sister inspired Dol Arrah.
