Lloyd's Wisdom stat.
Wisdom (かしこさ Kashikosa, Cleverness) is a stat in EarthBound Beginnings. This stat determines status ailment chance. It does 2 things to a member:
- Increases the chance of Status Ailments working (both in the form of PSI and battle items like the Flashdark).
- Decreases the chance of an enemy's Status Ailment attack working.
A Wisdom Capsule can be used to permanently increase a member's wisdom from 3 to 5.
Growth Rate[]
- Ninten starts off with 5 Wisdom and has a growth rate of 4. His wisdom will grow by {4 + (0 to 3)/2 [Rounding down to base integer]}, or by 2 to 3 per level. Ninten's max level will have his wisdom reach a value of 201 to 255.
- Lloyd starts off with 8 Wisdom and has a growth rate of 5. His wisdom will grow by {8 + (0 to 3)/2 [Rounding down to base integer]}, or by 4 to 5 per level. Lloyd's max level will have his wisdom reach a value of 255.
- Ana starts off with 7 Wisdom and has a growth rate of 6. Her wisdom will grow by {6 + (0 to 3)/2 [Rounding down to base integer]}, or by 3 to 4 per level. Ana's max level will have her wisdom reach a value of 255.
- Teddy starts off with 19 Wisdom and has a growth rate of 1. His wisdom will grow by {1 + (0 to 3)/2 [Rounding down to base integer]}, or by 0 to 2 per level. Teddy's max level will have his wisdom reach a value of 19 to 181.
- Pippi starts off with 2 Wisdom and has a growth rate of 1. Her wisdom will grow by {1 + (0 to 3)/2 [Rounding down to base integer]}, or by 0 to 2 per level. Pippi's max level will have her wisdom reach a value of 0 to 196.
- EVE starts off with 255 Wisdom and has a growth rate of 5, although this member cannot level up.
- FlynMan starts off with 30 Wisdom and has a growth rate of 0, although this member cannot level up.
