History[]

Sakornia was greatly honored by her tribe for her fighting skills.[2] She was sent to retrieve a lost artifact belonging to the tribe, and sought out parties of adventurers when possible to search for that artifact.[1]

Publication history[]

AD&D 2nd edition[]

Sakornia was card #190 in the 1991 Trading Cards Factory Set (1991). The artwork for Sakornia was extracted from Clyde Caldwell's cover for a non-Dungeons & Dragons TSR novel, Red Sands, written by Paul B. Thompson and Tonya R. Carter.[3]

Spellfire: Master the Magic[]

Sakornia reappeared in the original Spellfire: Master the Magic card game set. The first chase card, she was only available in booster packs. In the game, Sakornia was a 6th-level hero, but gained three levels when using an artifact.[2]
