A quipper is a small, predatory fish that dwells in temperate rivers. Individually weak, they swarm to overcome prey of very large sizes.

Aside from living in colder areas, a quipper is essentially identical to a piranha. Like those fish, they are often employed in water traps in dungeons, but tend to be more tolerant of cold.
