Major Courage is a minor DuckTales 1987 character, appearing in the episode "Where No Duck Has Gone Before".
History[]
Major Courage is the protagonist of the Duckburg Studios television show "Courage of the Cosmos!", in which Courage, played by an actor who is never officially named (the other characters only address him by his character's name), is the captain of a vessel called the Phoenix. Once Scrooge McDuck obtains it as debt payment, he hires Gyro to make a new set. After Scrooge says to make it realistic, Gyro makes a real rocket. Huey, Dewey, Louie, Doofus, and Launchpad are guests for a special episode, but end up going to space due to the rocket being real. Once they are captured by aliens, Courage realizes it's real and hides in the Phoenix.
