Yong Yea (born March 27, 1992[2]) is a Korean-American voice actor, YouTuber and video game designer.
Biography[]
Born to Korean parents and raised in Venezuela before moving to America at the age of 14, Yong Yea grew up with a diverse multicultural background that has colored his identity as a performer and paved the road to linguistic fluency in Spanish and English as well as conversational Korean. His extensive theatrical endeavors throughout high school, college, and beyond led to an unshakeable love for acting, his successful career as a gaming YouTuber (with over 1 million subscriber) honed his voice, and his long time obsession for all things animation and video games defined his passion for voice over.
Having recently moved from his former residence in Delaware, Yong is now a working actor in Studio City, Los Angeles. He has participated in a number of voice over projects, having played roles such as Nian Zhen in the video game Per Aspera alongside talents like Troy Baker and Phil LaMarr, Sanji and Homelander in the Rooster Teeth animation web series Death Battle!, Loki in the video game Rune 2: Decapitation Edition, Ven in Warframe: Proteus, Satoshi Oda in the anime movie Island of Giant Insects, Marbas in Bang Zoom’s Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, Jimmy the Traveler in Harvester Games’ Lorelai, Vince Ackerman in The Lyosacks Movie, Dee and Andrew Docker in the popular mod Fallout 4: Sim Settlements, Edan Watts in Far Flung Games’ Rogue Shift, and more. With his ability to deliver a wide spectrum of compelling performances, with a flexible range of varied voices to back it up, and with a child-like giddiness for playing pretend, Yong is thrilled to fill the shoes of fascinating characters waiting to be brought to life.
