Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie

Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie is a 2022 anime series based on the romantic comedy manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Keigo Maki. It was serialized and published in Kodansha's Shōnen Magazine Comics magazine from February 2, 2019 to February 18, 2023, with a total of 20 volumes.

The anime series was announced in January 2021. It was adapted by the animation studio Doga Kobo, directed by Ryota Itoh, and it aired in Japan from April 10, 2022 to July 10, 2022, consisting of 12 episodes. Crunchyroll licensed and produced an English Dub of the series, which premiered on their streaming service on April 23, 2022^[1].

Synopsis
Shikimori seems like the perfect girlfriend: cute, fun to be around, sweet when she wants to be, but she has a cool dark side that comes out under the right circumstances. And her boyfriend Izumi loves to be around when that happens.
