Kirby Robert Morrow (August 28, 1973 - November 18, 2020) was a Canadian actor, voice actor, writer and comedian. He was born in Jasper, Alberta, Canada and studied theatre at Mount Royal University in Calgary. He worked in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
In animation, he was known as the voice of Miroku in InuYasha, Van Fanel in the Ocean dub of The Vision of Escaflowne, Cyclops from X-Men Evolution, Jay in Class of the Titans, Teru Mikami in Death Note, Trowa Barton in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Ryo Takatsuki in Project ARMS, Goku in the Ocean dub of Dragon Ball Z (Episode 175 onwards), and Cole from Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. On camera, he was known for the recurring role of Captain Dave Kleinman from Stargate Atlantis.
Morrow died on November 18, 2020. His death was due to a long history of substance abuse according to his brother Casey Morrow.[1] Morrow's final performance was returning to the role of Miroku in the first episode of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. Casey Morrow is establishing the Kirby Morrow Memorial Scholarship Fund to help anyone pursuing an education in the performing arts, which started on December 4, 2020.
