A Galaxy Next Door (おとなりに銀河, Hepburn: Otonari ni Ginga) is a anime series produced by Asahi Production.The series is based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Gido Amagakure. It has been serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Good! Afternoon since April 2020.
The anime series was announced in April 2022. It was animated by Asahi Production, directed by Ryuichi Kimura, series composition by Gigaemon Ichikawa, composed by Takatsugu Wakabayashi, and it premiered in Japan from April 9, 2023 to June 25, 2023, consisting of 12 episodes.
Crunchyroll licensed and produced an English Dub of the series, which premiered on their streaming service on April 22, 2023.[1]
Synopsis
Ichirou Kuga has suddenly found himself taking on the responsibility of caring for his two younger siblings after their father's untimely death. To make ends meet, Ichirou rents out rooms in the apartment complex he inherited and works full-time as a shoujo manga artist. However, his manga sales are low, his assistants have recently left, and deadlines are fast approaching.
