He invented the Fall-Go-Boom Love Potion which was how he got married and had Senbei. He died sometime when Senbei was still a child and the Penguin Village Junior High Principal was aware of it. A portrait of him when he was young is seen in Arale is Akane!? in the Norimaki Residence.
