Santa Claus is a character featured in real-world folklore associated with Christmas. The folklore surrounding the character developed throughout Europe and in the United States as an amalgamation of the story of St. Nicholas and various other seasonal folk heroes, with many aspects provided by the classic poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas". He has appeared in and been alluded to in several Deamworks stories.
Santa Claus is a legendary character originating in Western Christianity, known for handing out gifts to children on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. He is a character inspired by a Christian bishop of Greek origin called Nicholas, who lived in the 4th century in Anatolia, in the valleys of Lycia (in present-day Turkey). He was one of the most venerated people by Christians in the Middle Ages, and his relics are still preserved today in the Basilica of Bari (Italy).
Like all of his pop culture, Santa Clause has a white beard.
In the Gingy's story, where he and his girlfriend Suzie watch the stars until he hears a sound. Gingy turns on his car lights and Santa Claus appears in front of them. They were scared of him and Santa roars. Santa then grabs Suzie and ate her. After that, Gingy was heartbroken.
Santa, also known as Nicholas, is the leader of the guardians, and the Guardian of Wonder. He lives at the North Pole in the Ice Castle and is served by loyal North Pole natives, the Yetis (who built the castle and workshop), and the Christmas Elves. He carries a Russian accent/culture persona.
Santa appears in the special "The Boss Baby: Christmas Bonus".

In a parallel universe, Santa Claus is the main antagonist in Shrek the Halls, and a holiday legend. He is not nice in this one, from Gingy's point-of-view at least.
Because he is a well-known folk character, he appears in countless other movies, including the post-DreamWorks Aardman Animations production Arthur Christmas.
