Hey, I don't think these are The Battlemage spells?! These are just spells that will be added to our Mage Spells tree arent they? they have it in a totally different section as the Battle Mage :S ? I personally thought Hands of Winter is going to be one of the 5th tier spell in our Primal Spells?

Well Elemental Chaos and Hand of Winter both say "the battlemage" in their description. Given the timing, description, and the number I assumed on the other two which I probably shouldn't have ;). I'll remove the fields until I have the time to investigate further.

Where do you learn the Battlemage specialization? Can you only learn it via book? The page says in Degarth, but I have no clue where that is, nor have I encountered it in my first playthrough. Did I just miss something? Emynii 08:14, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

I got the strategy guide and it confirms that the only way to unlock the specializations in the expansion is to purchase the books. I am removing the false information.Emynii 01:10, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

FYI, the "free book" exploit still works in the expansion, you can buy the book to unlock the specialization across all saves, then reload and get your money back. - onan

Blood Magic synergy[]

With the Stoic ability, does HP lost using Blood Magic recover your mana? I personally haven't got Awakenings yet (planning out specialisations for when I DO get it), so can't check. If yes, that's some pretty awesome synergy; cast normal magic until you run out of mana, switch to blood magic until you nearly run out of health, by which point you've got most of your mana back. Repeat. Probably won't work, but a man can hope. Zakrael 18:57, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Questions[]

I have 2 questions. The first is: Why do none of these spells have their level requirements listed? The second is: Why can I not get at the text to add the level requirements?Swk3000 (talk) 17:28, June 4, 2010 (UTC)

The answer to question one is because no one has added yet

. The answer to question two is because the spell list draws its information from the individual spell pages. So you'll need to add the level requirements to the infoboxes for each spell.
