- During Through the Shadows, in a map-marked chest on the lower floor of the Great Hall. The lower floor of the Great Hall is arrived at during the course of this quest.

- This weapon can reach a maximum rarity of rare prior to the point of no return.
- After the point of no return, it is possible to purchase another instance of this weapon to attain epic rarity. The maximum stats at epic are 219 damage and 270 stagger (at +10 epic).
